(Makara)Harbour Rocks
peaceful bay, suggests a real sense of quietness and stillness...and that 'sigh' that nature sometimes seems to have when you stop,..really stop,...and take a deep breath and breath out slowly....lovely.

and the Fantail follows

typical native bush, koru in textured medium for extra appeal

in the New Zealand bush, if you walk along a trail or path, often the beautiful little native bird, the fantail (google it and see how cute it is with it′s huge tail)-will often follow along inspecting the spots where your footsteps have disturbed the soil. Friendly company on your walk.......

Kalida-Sky
Sunrise....Sunset......a mixed media work in a contempory style. Photo does not do it justice sorry, it is a lot chrisper and clearer than it appears here. Will try to get a better one.But it is bright and eyecatching, without being too dominant..if you know what I mean.

Lakeside peace
This has Mount Cook in the background, not the 'normal' angle our famous mountain is painted and photographed from, but I liked the lake sitting quietly in the shadow, adding that lovely sense of peace and stillness. Can almost hear the birdcall way off....
