Published, professional British artist, living and working in beautiful New Zealand. Rosie has been very fortunate in her artistic career and bless′s every day that she can pick up her brushes and create beautiful things in a sometimes ugly world. Her work was published in Society Magazine in USA in 2005 on 3 occasions with her art as their front covers. Rosie has several private collectors around the world with some of them owning up to 10 pieces. Rosie works in a mainly Art Deco style with some Art Nouveau and Surrealism mixed in for good measure and tends to go for bright and colourful with lots of detail rather than dark and sombre. Most of her pieces are large and are meant to own any wall they are placed upon. On average, these artworks take anything from 3 months to a year to complete as most are created in oil. The process also sometimes involves sketching the idea in Silverpoint and then applying the paint in layers, allowing the paint to dry thoroughly to enable a protective coat of varnish to be applied at the end. Because of the nature of her style, Rosie uses imagery from the Art Deco period together with her own interpretation. All of her ladies are based upon imagination, apart from her commissions, so if you have an idea for an artwork, please contact Rosie to discuss. The limit is your own imagination. All artwork comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate will be printed with the poetry description where applicable to the piece. Postage to anywhere in the world, is included within the price of each artwork so no hidden costs. However, if you wish for extra insurance, then please contact Rosie direct. All Prints offered are Limited Editions with 10 only being printed - each edition is numbered, signed and dated by Rosie personally. ALL ARTWORK IS COPYRIGHTED TO ROSIE HARPER AND MUST NOT BE REPRODUCED, WITHOUT PERMISSION.
